Criticism and comments

I said before that I welcomed constructive criticism. However that does not mean that we will change according to your exact whims and fancies. Hey, accept it, humans all make mistake.
I'm not saying that thats an excuse for us to do so. But at least respect our staff members. Don't just blitz in and insult us. You might disagree with certain parts of our fansub, sure, go ahead and tell us. But if we feel that we aren't wrong (maybe we are, who knows), I don't really like it when you just say 'Thats not how I would do it, thats wrong'. And say that we 'ruin the show'
Well, this isn't Pay Per View you know. You don't have to watch our releases if you don't like it..
We aren't losing anything at all. Our staff members try to shuffle around with their own personal time just to bring the subs out asap. At least credit them for that.


On a side note, many thanks to those who gave us your suggestions. Hopefully you will see vast improvements in Lucky Star 4 and Kaibutsu Oujo 3.

p.s the mispelling of Lisa Wildman as Lizar Wildman in Kaibutsu Oujo 2's ending preview is my fault. T__T. Sorry about that.

well, its out. this episode took quite a bit longer. A LOT of references and stuff..
Anyways, AVI version is out. Somehow, i encoded it to 97MB. and no its not shit quality. It may be a bit lousier if u view it at full screen though..

Releasing our Videos elsewhere

Frankly, i do not discourage nor mind you guys releasing our videos elsewhere. But please make sure it does not end up look like some piece of shit. I'm a user at crunchyroll, and recently my friend pointed out that Lucky Star Episode 2 was up there. I went to take a look.. and WOW. talk about shitty work. That video ULed was completely disgusting, whats worse is that its under our name... The karaoke was somehow screwed. The styles and positioning were gone, making the subs extremely confusing at certain parts. And the uploader 'killmyrene' refused to remove the video even though i kindly and extremely nicely requested for it.

So please, if you want to share the videos, please at least make sure that they are the same quality which we produced...T__T

ahhh. apparently in the mkv some stuff went wrong.. Sorry! I heard that the fonts were attached and stuff. Well, I have never encoded and mkv before, so it looked fine on mine. Sorry!

And in regards to the capital and stuff... well.. the font we used 'komika axis' is all in capitals. So we din't bother changing it. I was told that some people who din't have the font view it as arial.. which mean it can be quite screwed up. Sorry about that.
If you prefer, you can wait for the .avi. its coming out in like.. 8 hours time..

and if u watched it from crunchyroll.. well.. he converted our mkv. and lost A LOT of stuff. so tbh it looks like shit. i was like... omg... this is screwed. when i viewed it on crunchyroll..

Birth of Lucky Channel

Yo! This is choupunz speaking. We used to be called sleepingforest-subs. But due to some drama within the staff members and stuff, sleeping forest got destroyed. So ya, i figured that I wanna start anew without being linked to sleeping forest. And ur smart co-founder kururu, came up with this name! Lucky Channel! Haha, for now, lucky channel is only picking up Lucky Star, but who knows, later on we might expand. Right now we are recruiting all sorts of staff. You dont have to be experienced, but we prefer if you are. I myself started completely from ZERO experience. Well, look at episode 2 which will be released in a few days time. I find that i have improved a lot. I can personally teach the staff members if you are keen to learn. Our rules are quite slack, basically its like a no rule policy. Just make sure you go through me before doing something drastic, else i might get mean. >_>. I m one who believes in 'innocent before proven guility', so I am nice to everyone, until u prove me otherwise. So ya..basically thats all.. I am going to put up a tagboard soon. I hope to have the support of everyone!

P.S We are in look for an ftp host, anyone out there able to donate to us poor souls? T_T
